She’s only 11, but tonight she’ll be dancing at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and will be broadcast nationwide… live! Anthem’s mulit-talented Sofia Wylie has been chosen to be one of eight background dancers for “The Gentleman,” a lovable 9- and 12-year-old brother dance duet.
Sofia has been dancing for a couple years but recently started booking jobs in Los Angeles.

“She did a Kidz Bop commercial and video a couple of months ago,” said her mom, Amy Wylie. “She has been in several other music videos… this is her first live-show.”
Sofia is also a modeling rep for Celebrity Dance Apparel and Sadie Jane Dance Apparel, according to Amy. The Sadie Jane gig came after winning a model search contest.
Competing is not new to Sofia. She won her first dance competition, StarPower Phoenix, in 2014. And recently, she took third place at the 2015 Celebrity “Dance Down” competition. Last month, Sofia earned first place in the jazz category for her age group, 1st place in the contemporary category for her age group, and 5th place overall at KAR Nationals in Anaheim.
